Hudson Joseph Meek was only 16 years old when he passed away — a teenager whose talent had already taken him into one of Hollywood’s most beloved films. 

He was best known for his role as the young version of “Baby” in Edgar Wright’s hit 2017 movie Baby Driver — a role that introduced him to audiences around the world. 

But Hudson’s talent didn’t stop there. He appeared in television series like MacGyver, Legacies, Found, and Genius, and even provided voice work for animated projects. He seemed destined for a long, meaningful career in entertainment — a dream he pursued with passion and dedication.

Just before Christmas last year, what should have been a season of joy turned into heartbreak. While out with friends in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Hudson tragically fell from a moving vehicle. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. 

Despite the best efforts of medical teams and the comfort of his loving family, he passed away shortly after — just 16 years old.
